Artist's Comments
This is something new I've been working on. Its a mix of sculpture and painting, in my opinion, although there was no paint used. I don't think I will paint it, im rather happy with how it is now.
Materials: wood block (oh, i love the textures and tones on this thing) copper wire rubber cement the shed hair of a yellow lab (that dog... i brushed her for TWO HOURS and there was STILL full brushes full of fur coming out!!) This is an entirely new technique for me, which evolved out of the owl piece. Critique Welcome. this is not for sale, as it is the first of it's kind for me, and is therefore very special. more pictures to follow. |
