Artist's Comments
WIP on a self portrait.
-First was the pencil outline (which you can see where i havent painted yet) -then I was originally going to make it by using only vertical lines for shading but decided against it, you might or might not be able to see it in this picture. -then I added some watercolors but wasnt very happy (you can see that in the neck area, which i havent really started yet) - so then i played with acrylics. theres an insane amount of layers in the acrylics, probably 9 or 10 in some spots. the chin isnt done, but i think for the most part the upper face is completed. i'll probably add some blacks and add some more blue to my eyes  I'm pretty happy with this, hope you like! It's a present for a friend, and yes i am very vain sometimes lol.  |
